Reservations
I want to book multiple beds. How do I do that?
You can select the number of beds while making your reservation under room type selection.
Do I have to pay for my reservation online?
A credit card is required to guarantee your booking. If you have booked a non-refundable rate, the full amount of the reservation will be charged immediately.
How can I change or cancel my reservation?
If you have booked a flexible rate, you can change your reservation up to 24 hours before your arrival date. You can do this directly or through the booking platform/agency you booked with. Please note that the arrival date starts at 11:59 p.m. (CET).
If you have booked a non-refundable rate, the booking will be charged immediately and is non-refundable or amendable. You can cancel your booking, but 100% of the reservation fee will be charged.

Can the beds of reservations booked in different names be placed in the same room?

Payments
Which payment methods are accepted?
All major worldwide credit cards are accepted. In addition, you can pay at the hotel by debit card.
Do I need to provide my credit card details when making a reservation?
Whether you pay directly for your reservation or not, a credit card is required to guarantee your booking. The hotel may need to temporarily pre-authorize your credit card to guarantee your reservation, after which you may choose to pay with another card or cash. Regardless of the payment method you prefer, your credit card information will be required during the booking process.
Do you accept cash payments?
We prefer card payments, but you can also pay cash on arrival.
What is tourist tax and when is it charged?
Tourist tax is a municipal tax for paid accommodation in Amsterdam. The Amsterdam city council requires each tourist to pay 12,5% of the total room price to improve the city and its facilities.
If your reservation was made prior to January 2024 you will be asked to pay the new city tax upon arrival to the hotel. If you have any further questions please give us a call or send us an email.Arrival
At what time can I check in?
Check-in starts from 3:00 PM. The reception is open 24 hours a day. Please let us know in advance if you plan to arrive later than midnight.
I have arrived too early. Can I leave my luggage with you in advance?
Before and after check-in it is possible to store your luggage in our shared luggage room.

Does the hotel offer a shuttle service?
Unfortunately we do not offer a shuttle service. The quickest and easiest way is to take the train from Schiphol. The train runs every 15 minutes from 06:00 until midnight.

During your stay
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately we cannot allow pets in the hotel.
Can I smoke in the hotel? Where can I smoke?
Tourist Inn Hotel is a 100% non-smoking hotel. It is strictly forbidden to smoke anywhere within the hotel facilities, including the courtyard or outside your hotel room window. A fine of EUR 250 will be charged if we suspect or find our guests tampering with fire and safety equipment or if they smoke anywhere in the hotel.
Are there age restrictions in the hotel?
The minimum age is 18 years. You can only stay under 18 years old if you are accompanied by a parent.
Is there a curfew?
No. There is no curfew. After 22:00 you will have a 24-hour access card to enter the hotel.
Are there facilities for disabled guests?
Unfortunately, the hotel is not fully accessible to disabled guests.
I have a party planned. Can we come?

Does Tourist Inn Hotel have a kitchen?
There is a microwave. Plates and cutlery are also available.
Until what time can I have breakfast?
A Continental breakfast buffet is included in the room rate and is served daily from 07:30 - 10:30 AM.
Do I have to bring all my toiletries?
Tourist In Hotel offers all toiletries you need for your stay. Bedding such as; towels, sheets, blankets, pillows and also shower gel, hand soap and shampoo for free.
Do you have air conditioning?
Air-conditioning (summer period) and central heating (winter period) is available throughout the hotel.
Departure
Until what time can I check out?
Check-out is possible until 11:00 am.
Can I leave earlier than planned?
Earlier departure is no problem. The cancellation conditions then apply; no refunds can be made.
I want to stay in the city a little longer. Can I leave my luggage with you?
Before and after check-in it is possible to store your luggage in our shared luggage room.
I'd like to sleep in. Can I check out later?
Late check-out is available (contact our reception), 5 euros per bed (shared rooms) or 10 euros per room (private rooms).
Rates
What are the conditions of a flexible rate?
Your credit card details are required to guarantee your booking until your arrival at the hotel. Payment is made at the hotel. If you wish to cancel your booking, you must do so at least 48 hours before your arrival date. Please note that the arrival date starts at 23:59 (CET).
Bookings canceled after 48 hours prior to arrival and no-show will incur a 100% penalty.

What are the conditions of a non-refundable rate?
Your credit card information is required to qualify for this rate. Changes or cancellations are not possible after the time of booking. Upon booking, payment will be taken immediately, making your reservation non-refundable and non-changeable. You can cancel your booking, but not without incurring 100% of the penalty.
What is the Group Reservation Policy?
If you book for a group of 15 or more people, you will be contacted regarding a 15% deposit and different rates may apply.
